Welcome to Monkey Class

​

This term we have a very exciting history project! We will take a stroll back to Ancient Rome where we will explore everything from why the Romans invaded Britain to who their rulers were. We will take a walk along the ancient timeline to discover how important the Roman Empire was to our today.

Our learning question this term is ‘Do we walk in Roman shoes?’  

In literacy we will use ‘Escape from Pompeii’ to inspire our journey tales, before exploring life as a Roman soldier where we will write a diary entry based on our experiences. 

In maths, we are going to be learning about number and place value and addition and subtraction. 

In science, we will be exploring electricity and animals including humans. 

In Art and DT we will go on to explore mosiac art and create our own chariots ready to race!
