Computing Curriculum

Computing Curriculum Vision:

We will equip our children with the skills to use computational thinking and creativity. Pupils will be taught the principles of information: how digital systems work and how to put this knowledge to use through programming; to become resilient learners in an ever-growing digital age. We aim to keep our pupils safe online by providing them with the knowledge and skills to do so, promoting safe messages throughout the curriculum.

The Impact of our Curriculum: The Computing curriculum will contribute to children’s personal development in creativity, independence, judgement and self-reflection. We encourage our children to enjoy and value the curriculum we deliver. We will constantly ask the WHY behind their learning and not just the HOW. The way pupils showcase, share, celebrate and publish their work will best show the impact of our curriculum
